Taboo
- Breaking out the Skeletons in all our Closets
John Green
A taboo is a strong social prohibition against
words, objects, actions, discussions, or people that are considered
undesirable or offensive by a group, culture, or society. How
and why do these come about and what
personal taboos do we ourselves hold? Today we will look at
generational
taboos, national taboos and also explore our individual charts
to see what
personal shadows, demons and fears we are trying to keep locked
up. We will
be looking not just at Pluto, Saturn and the 8th house but
at how our whole
chart contributes to our taboos.
As humour and satire are great
taboo
breakers we will be exploring that too. Bring charts and be
aware that we
will be discussing adult topics such as sex, death, drugs,
obscenity and
much more in an open and frank manner.
