Introduction to the birth chart, the structure of the psyche.
The Planets: Astronomically, symbolically, mythologically.
The Luminaries: The Sun and Moon.

Week 2 Planets I
The personal planets - their mythology and motivation.
Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars.

Week 3 Planets II
The Social Planets – their mythology and motivation.
Jupiter and Saturn.
Introduction to Chiron and the Centaurs.

Week 4 Planets III
The Trans-Personal Planets – their mythology and motivation.
Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

Week 5 The Tropical Zodiac
Astronomical basis: Ecliptic, celestial equator, seasons and cardinal points.
Introduction to the signs – their symbols and planetary rulerships.
Number symbolism – polarity, triplicity, quadruplicity.

Week 6 The Four Elements and Psychological Types I
Signs: Fire Signs – their mythology.
Characteristics of planets in fire signs.

Week 7 The Four Elements and Psychological Types II
Signs: Earth Signs – their mythology.
Characteristics of planets in earth signs.

Week 8 The Four Elements and Psychological Types III
Signs: Air Signs – their mythology.
Characteristics of planets in air signs.

Week 9 The Four Elements and Psychological Types IV
Signs: Water Signs – their mythology.
Characteristics of planets in water signs.

Week 10 Putting it all together.
