The Sun

The Sun sign is the first thing everyone learns in astrology and is indeed the most important principle in the chart. Yet, when giving readings, astrologers often brush over the Sun and focus on more complex aspects, perhaps to avoid associations with the overly-simplistic 'star sign' predictions in newspaper columns.

In this webinar I will be exploring this powerful symbol itself, looking at myth and going deeper into its psychological meaning as the centre of the personality and our sense of identity, the archetypal transpersonal core of the psyche which lies behind the ego complex.

As the Sun’s light shines on us it casts a dark shadow – it is only by confronting the shadow side of all the sun signs that consciousness evolves, bringing the ego and the Self into true relationship and wholeness.
